ABOUT ME

I’m a multidisciplinary commercial photographer and videographer with more than 25 years of professional experience, creating photography and film for brands, businesses and organisations. My work spans still life, product, sport, people, lifestyle and content-led imagery, with clients including L’Oréal, Sainsbury’s, Lock & Co., Tribourne and others.

Originally intending to pursue graphic design, I discovered photography during my studies and quickly realised it was a better fit for my creative strengths. I went on to study advertising and fashion photography at Cheltenham and Gloucester College before assisting photographers in London and Brighton.

I began my career specialising in still life and product photography, later becoming second photographer at a Brighton studio, working on established commercial accounts while building my own client base. I moved into full-time freelance photography more than 25 years ago and have continued to evolve alongside the industry.

My experience covers film, medium format and modern digital systems, and I’m comfortable working in fast-paced production environments where stills and video often need to be captured simultaneously. This combination of technical experience, creative thinking and practical production knowledge allows me to adapt quickly to different briefs and clients.

Alongside my commercial work, I continue to teach and mentor photographers through 1-to-1 mentoring, workshops and business training. My personal work has also received recognition, including being shortlisted for Landscape Photographer of the Year and Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

Outside of photography, I’m a keen sports and outdoor enthusiast, with a particular love of padel, surfing and wing foiling.
